I originally purchased a ramp and trained the dogs to go up and down it. I started flat and then increased the elevation. All was well until I tried it on my Tahoe. It is very high and the dogs were not comfortable. I then purchased these steps and they immediately took to it without any training. Much more safe for larger dogs.
